welcome . . .
after posting my first blog post, i realized i needed to make a small correction, or confession. truth is, i really don't know what "everyone" says about blogging. it seems to me i've heard it said that you should blog about what you know. it seems to me i've heard that said not only of blogging but of all sorts of things, however, when taking a ceu credit for my part-time job as a hospice chaplain, i learned that if one wants to know more about something, one should make a presentation about whatever that one wants to know more about. (btw . . . i don't really talk like that but i love to hear people who can make that sound totally acceptable.) as i was saying, i'm not really sure what "everyone says about blogging." truth be told, i'm not even sure everyone is talking about blogging and certainly, not everyone is talking about blogging all at the same time.
so perhaps right now, out of the millions of people who inhabit our world only a couple thousand are actually talking right now about blogging, but i'm almost positive that if someone would give someone else some advice about blogging, it would be that you should blog about something you know something about instead of just blogging sheer balderdash. so, i suppose, i will take the advice and quit blogging for now and look forward to blogging again later . . .

first post . . .
welcome . . .
everyone says you should blog about what you know. perhaps that's true. however, i have a desire to know a lot. i have a mind that constantly wanders. if you could see my google chrome and all the tabs i have open at one time, you would probably recognize the truth of this. and so, i am making a decision, not to make this particular blog about any one thing, but about any thing that interests me, causes me to think, challenges me, etc., etc., etc.
you will find that the posts are simply labeled first post, second, post, third post and so on because i really don't know what i will blog about at any particular juncture. i will attempt to use tags so that if you are looking for a particular item or refreshing your memory about what i said on a particular topic, you can look back at it.
i do hope you as the reader responds to the blog in a way that is respectful and yet, feel free to dialogue should i say something you disagree with or affirm your disagreement.
so here goes . . . my eclectic attempt to enter the "blogging" world . . .
